CNC LATHE Programmer Job Description $25.00HR Mon-Thurs: 6:00am-4:30pm Fri: 6:00am-2:30pm Sat: 6:00am-12:00pm CNC Lathe Programmer: The employee would be responsible for creating computer programs that instruct a CNC lathe machine to precisely cut and shape metal parts by interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints, translating them into G-code instructions (No CAM), setting up the machine with the correct tools and parameters, and ensuring the customer's parts meet required specifications through testing and adjustments. Experience • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment. • Proficiency in CAD software for designing and modifying CNC programs. • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments, including calipers and CMMs. • Knowledge of GD&T practices and their application in machining processes. • Experience with Fanuc controls is highly desirable. • Understanding of lean manufacturing techniques is an advantage. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
