Superior Steel has been in business and growing for over 25 years. JOB REQUIREMENTS Experience. A job history in metal fabrication work is preferred. Ability to read and interpret dimensional drawings, specifications and requirements. Proficiency in the use of all manner of measuring instruments such as; calipers, gage blocks, height gage, micrometers, etc. Must be detail oriented, organized and possess a positive, helpful attitude. Be able to setup and operate manual and CNC mills and lathes. Must be able to perform in a fast-paced work environment. Self-motivated, outgoing and cooperative. Excellent attendance and reliability. Ability to stay focused and work well under pressure (e.g. time constraints). Must be physically able to lift/carry/manipulate up to 50lbs. and stand for most of the shift. Minimal Qualifications: • Associate of Art's degree (A.A.) programs in Machinist is preferred. • Minimum two years experience operating CNC machines or Machinist Technical Certification through an accredited college preferred. • Similar degree or certifications from a technical school or machining center or equivalent combination of education and experience in the machining industry is preferred.
