CNC Precision Specialist

CNC Machinist Position We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our production team. As a vital member, you will play a key role in setting up and adjusting machines to ensure optimal performance. • Setup and operate various machines, including lathes, cutters, borers, millers, grinders, presses, drills, and CNC machines. • Align and position tools, gears, cams, and templates to meet exact specifications. • Perform test cycles to verify timing, clearance, and tolerances. • Troubleshoot and resolve machine setup issues. • Make program edits and adjustments directly on CNC machines. • Read blueprints and layouts to plan work sequences and tooling. • Train and mentor team members as needed. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives like kaizen and cycle time reduction. To be successful, you will need: • A High School Diploma or equivalent. • 3-5 years of experience in CNC machine setup (preferred). • A strong understanding of machine changeovers and adjustments. • Familiarity with coolant and cutting oils. • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Windows). • Experience with CNC machines; knowledge of Fanuc G & M codes is a plus. Packaging Machine Operator

Do you have experience in food processing and have a knack for operating machinery? Our Salem Headquarters is looking for 2 experienced Packaging Machine Operators for flexible shifts. Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours a day. We have 1 position open on Swing Shift 3:00 PM-11:30 PM and 1 on Graveyard 11:00 PM-7:30 AM. Responsibilities: • Perform process area sanitation. • Prepare process area for operation start up. This includes but not limited to Products, Packaging Material, Equipment Adjustment, Palletizing. • Operate semi-automated Portion Pack Filling equipment & all other filling equipment to fill product containers. • Place filled containers for shipping cartons, Palletize & Stage them for transferring to warehouse. • Monitor filling equipment to ensure proper operation & adjust equipment as necessary for continuous operation. • Inspect filled containers & cartons to ensure compliance with company set standards, State & Federal regulations. • Initiate filling equipment adjustment & change over as needed. • Hold all matters related to the corporation in confidence. Required Skills/Abilities: • Must be able to: • Knowledgeable, able, & willing to be Certified by Oregon State for Acidified Food Handler. • Complete Filler Operating Instruction Course provided by Yamasa & satisfies all necessary requirements. • Read & comprehend instructions, informational manuals, able to write & verbally communicate process reports to the supervisor & coworkers in English language. • Work in a food manufacturing sanitary work area without posing a threat to product sanitation & safety. • Tolerate exposure to cleaning agents commonly used in the food manufacturing process area. • Demonstrate adequate manual dexterity to perform assigned tasks. • Work flexible shift time. • Work without extensive supervision. • Perform mathematical calculations for addition, subtraction, multiply & divide fractions correctly. • Perform assigned duties in closed quarters or at heights. • Push & pull up to 75 pounds using heavy product handling equipment. Able to lift 60 - 80 pounds repetitively on the job. • Tolerate exposure to odors and products without adverse reaction. • Work in a standing position up to 12 hours per day. • Tolerate heat, cold, dust, high humidity, & other indoor environmental conditions as required. • Move freely as required to perform normally assigned duties. • Work & communicate effectively in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual environment. • Tolerate exposure to fast pace, repetitive tasks. • Willing to utilize personal protective equipment provided for worker safety, including but not limited to hair net, beard net, ear & hearing protection equipment, safety glasses, & rubber gloves.
