Job Responsibilities: Sets up and operates a variety of equipment such as CNC milling machines, flatbed CNC gantry, Water Jet, Lathe, Bridgeport and EZTRAC machines to make parts, tools and fixtures. Interprets blueprints, sketches and engineering specifications. Determines sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and methods of setup, uses a variety of precision measuring equipment, standard shop computations, and standard to advance machining practices for tooling, setup, feeds and speeds. Fits and assembles precision parts into mechanical equipment, determines material, parts, and equipment required. Responsible to assure the quality of the work they perform meets procedural and engineering requirements. Essential Functions: • Be able to calculate and set offsets, change tools, and load and unload parts. • Check dimensions and perform first-piece inspections on parts as required by shop leads. • Maintains clean work area. Basic Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED with at least 6 years of related experience on CNC machines. • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, mylars and other engineering data, including assembly drawings. • Must be able to read and use dial calipers, micrometers, steel scales, and other measuring devices. • Must be able to use edge finder / probe system to set and work offsets on HAAS, DMG Mori, and Okuma CNC Machines. • Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends and flexible hours as required. • Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction. • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data. Physical Requirements: Primarily manufacturing/assembly environment. Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current. Must be able to bend and reach. Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at close distance to the eyes. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to maneuver up to 50 pounds. Will be performing substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Job Description Date: 2025 Position Title: Machinist Reports To: President Principal Duties and Responsibilities Operator – Essential Functions: § This position is primarily responsible for operating CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, or other production machinery etc., performing miscellaneous shop and warehouse duties; and providing support as assigned by the Production Supervisor. § Troubleshoot and maintain production machinery and equipment, as necessary. § Complete quality control relevant to production parts, including adjustments necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications. Complete all quality control and rejections according to company and industry standards. § Work within standard operating procedures, QC procedures, AS requirements, and job safety procedures. § Fulfill daily production work flow processes to meet customer order deadlines per the direction of the Production Supervisor. § Clean and maintain warehouse and work areas per company standards and requirements. § Per direction of the President, assist regarding returned merchandise and relevant testing and re-stocking of units or parts. § Provide back-up support for various Production team employees as needed. § Provide back-up for other departments as necessary and fulfill any other tasks as requested and assigned by management. Physical Tasks, Physical Demands, and Equipment Use Requirements Work performed on Production Team involves considerable physical activity and equipment use, including but not limited to: § Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling a minimum of 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds. Being on feet for long periods of time. § Walking, climbing, kneeling, squatting, bending, standing, walking on uneven surfaces, twisting, turning, reaching, pushing, and physical tasks requiring full range of motion. § Use of company transportation equipment to move, store, pack and unpack inventory. Employee(s) must be skilled in and capable of operating company transportation equipment (e.g., forklift or hand truck) to move, convey, or hoist shipments to/from warehouse areas. § Employee(s) must be familiar with basic and specialized tooling, be adept at using various hand-held tools, and excel with manufacturing assembly equipment. Experience and Training* Required: § Experience with running CNC is highly encouraged when applying. § Technical assembly capabilities relevant to industrial manufacturing. § Detail oriented with strong communication skills. § Excellent organizational, problem solving, and time management skills. § Ability to work well with others and contribute to positive team environment. § Ability to work well under pressure and with time constraints, including handling additional projects as assigned. § Be able to work overtime when necessary. Desirable: § Employment in industrial manufacturing. § Experience with AS, ISO and other QC programs. § Expertise with specialized tooling. § Certifications relevant to industrial manufacturing. Education* § Minimum high school diploma desired. • Required experience, training, or educational requirements shall be as indicated or as deemed acceptable by Aerohead management.
