Machine Operator III (GA,TX)

Position Summary We’re looking for a skilled and driven Machine Operator III to join our production team. In this role, you’ll take the lead in operating and maintaining complex packaging machinery—including Stand Up Baggers, Fillers, Cappers, Case Packers, and more. You’ll ensure our production lines run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, while meeting all quality and performance standards. Key Responsibilities • Set up and operate complex machinery and perform mechanical changeovers • Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime • Follow strict quality control, sanitation, and safety procedures • Monitor performance data and recommend improvements • Perform pre-operational checks and manage exceptions • Load product, monitor scales and support equipment, and assist with packing and stacking • Train and guide machine operators and line personnel • Lead machinery changeovers and maintain a clean, audit-ready workspace • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations including HACCP, FSMA, SQF, and GMP standards • Actively support a culture of safety and continuous improvement Qualifications Education & Experience: • Proven experience operating complex machinery or entire production lines • Strong mechanical, electrical, and analytical skills • Ability to lead and train others effectively • Basic computer literacy (QAD, scanners) • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 60 lbs occasionally • Level I power equipment license (JBSS) preferred • English proficiency and basic math skills Additional Requirements • Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.
