The successful candidate will have a background in usage of computers and numerical control machines. The position also requires strong problem-solving, a thorough knowledge of the manufacturing process, strong set-up and machining background with an eye for detail. Must be able to use precise measurement tools and hold tight tolerances. Esprit CAD software programming experience a plus. 5–10 years experience is needed. Arkansas Tool & Die is a job shop with the major work being one-off parts, very little production machining. Shop is climate-controlled with all vertical CNC machines being Haas.

Cnc Laser Operator

Job Title: Laser Operator Job Description Join a dynamic fabrication shop that specializes in building custom conveyors, cranes, and material handling products. As a laser operator, you will be responsible for operating the laser cutting table to produce mass quantities or singular specialized pieces, strictly following a specified set of blueprints or schematics. Responsibilities • Operate the laser cutting table to produce components according to blueprints and schematics. • Ensure adherence to safety protocols while operating heavy machinery such as overhead cranes, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts. • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the laser operation process. • Read and interpret blueprints accurately to ensure precise cutting specifications. • Maintain the laser equipment and perform routine checks for optimal performance. Essential Skills • Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics. • Experience using a CNC laser, specifically in laser operation. • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with laser equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience operating heavy machinery such as overhead cranes and aerial lifts. • Physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a manufacturing shop that operates Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, averaging 45 hours a week with no weekends. The shop, which is engaged in building larger equipment for field use, has a team of approximately 5-10 people at any given time. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Little Rock, AR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. CNC Router Operator

Summary of Role Arkansas Wood Doors is a leading manufacturer of custom, high-quality cabinet doors and components in Pottsville, AR. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CNC Router Operator to ensure the precise and efficient production of our MDF, Veneer, and engineered composite products. This is a skilled role requiring proficiency in machine setup, tooling management, and quality control on nested-based CNC routers within a fast-paced cabinet component environment. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions The Operator will be a vital part of our production workflow, covering the entire process: • Machine Setup: Perform complete Machine Setup for high-volume runs, including loading programs, performing tool inspections, and setting accurate offsets for various wood-based materials. • Production & Loading: Efficiently perform Machine Loading by placing full sheets of raw material onto the router bed and securing vacuum hold-down for nested-based cutting. • Operation & Monitoring: Start and Monitor Machine cycles, ensuring material yield is maximized and making immediate adjustments to prevent defects or machine errors. • Tooling: Manage the router tool library, including installing, replacing, and checking the sharpness of specialty tooling used for cabinet door profiles. • Quality Control: Utilize precision instruments to check the dimensions and finish quality of the first part, guaranteeing components meet the tight tolerances required for cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and RTA components. • Maintenance & Safety: Perform required daily/weekly preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and strictly adhere to all company safety standards. Qualifications & Experience Required • Minimum 2 years of professional experience operating industrial CNC Routers, specifically in a woodworking, cabinet, or millwork manufacturing environment. • Demonstrated ability to perform Machine Setup (tooling changes, offset adjustments) independently. • Proficiency in reading and accurately interpreting cabinet shop drawings, cut lists, and production blueprints. • Strong understanding of wood and composite panel materials (MDF, plywood, solid wood). Preferred Qualifications • Direct experience with nested-based manufacturing for kitchen/bath components. • Familiarity with CNC programming languages (G-Code/M-Code) for minor edits or troubleshooting. (Not Necessary To Run Machine) • Experience with other cabinet shop machinery (e.g., Wide Belt Sanders, Panel Saws, Edge Banders).
