Position: HVAC Technician II Location: Valdosta, Georgia Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Job Summary: The HVAC Technician II is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, and sewage systems. This hands-on role requires technical expertise and a proactive approach to facility maintenance. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and adjust refrigeration and HVAC systems for optimal efficiency • Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing and sewage systems • Weld, fabricate, and read blueprints for installations • Handle water and sewage treatment with chemical applications • Maintain equipment and respond to after-hours service calls • Comply with safety, food safety, and GMP standards Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED • 2–4 years’ experience in HVAC/refrigeration (commercial) • Familiarity with systems like compressed air, boilers, industrial refrigeration, etc. • EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification required Skills Needed: • Ability to read and follow work instructions • Basic math and measurement skills • Sound reasoning and problem-solving ability • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • 12 hour shift • 5x8 • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Evening shift • Monday to Friday Work Location: On the road
