Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm, onsite, Moses Lake, WA WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON • Communicate daily with production team to prioritize maintenance/HVAC work. • Review and prioritize work orders daily, for repair and maintenance of HVAC, machinery, and mechanical equipment. • Develop and implement maintenance activities as listed, preventive maintenance, work order system, critical parts inventory, field equipment inventory, maintenance skill development, predictive maintenance. • Maintain inventory, and quality of tools, parts, repair supplies and other materials; obtain quotes for replacement parts and materials and prepare requisitions as needed; fabricate parts not commercially available using hand and machine tools; maintain tools and equipment in good working order. • Have working knowledge in the following trades: HVAC Equipment, process pumps (mag drive and diaphragm pumps), overhead door maintenance, Reverse Osmosis (RO)/Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) systems, and cooling towers. • Provide technical support and resources as necessary to every department in the plant regarding HVAC equipment, machinery, and any other facility issues. • Analyze and troubleshoot HVAC, mechanical, and electrical issues; implement corrective actions. • Estimate material needs and repair/replace defective components. • Fabricate non-standard parts using appropriate tools and machinery. • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order. • Report unsafe equipment and practices to supervisors or management. • Write procedures and maintain documentation of repairs, calibrations, tests, etc. • Keep detailed service records to ensure compliance and operational readiness. • Uphold all MLI policies and “MLI Code of Conduct.” • Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations. • Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required. QUALIFICATIONS • High school Diploma or equivalent required. • HVAC Licenses. • Electrical 06A (Required) • Refrigeration EPA 608 Universal (Required) • Working knowledge of process chillers, split systems, package units(20ton), mini-splits, and Trane control systems. • Working knowledge of computers and MS Office software • Demonstrated ability to: • Follow written and verbal instructions in English. • Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, to meet established deadlines. • Work as a team and/or independently. • Perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy. • Maintain regular and punctual attendance. WORKING CONDITIONS Duties are generally performed indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions, in a 24-hour per day, seven days per week manufacturing environment. Handling and working with hazardous materials and chemical manufacturing equipment is routine. The employee may work in the presence of fumes or airborne particles, hot, toxic or corrosive chemicals, water, liquids and electrical equipment. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. When working in the presence of these hazards, the employee is expected to follow company safety rules and use proper personal protection such as: hardhat, respirator, hearing protection, protective clothing, safety glasses, safety footwear, etc. MLI is an alcohol and drug free workplace. Employees will work in a covered Process Safety Management (PSM) environment containing threshold quantities of flammable liquids and/or gasses that have a potential for fire or explosion. Employees working in this environment are required to be free from devices that are not considered intrinsically safe. Mobile HVAC / Maintenance Technician

What This Job Involves Operates, inspects, and maintains all HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities to obtain most efficient operating results and life expectancy. Assures that equipment is being maintained in an energy efficient, safe manner and down time is reduced to a minimum by anticipation of necessary repairs keeping records of past operating experiences. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc. What is your day to day? • Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems, equipment, and other components. • Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings. • Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations. • Respond effectively to all emergencies. • Prepare and submit to management summary reports listing conditions found in the performance of assigned work, and recommend and/or suggest action to be taken. • Study and become familiar with the various items of equipment, and the methods required to use them properly, that are required in every day activities. This to include building automation systems, fire / life safety systems, and any other building related equipment. • Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them. • Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws. • Must be willing and able to support any after hours building related activity as required. • Attend periodic training seminars. • Other assigned operational tasks as may be typically expected of the Mobile Engineer role. • Candidate will be provided tools required to perform assigned work scope. Required Desired experience and technical skills • Universal EPA 608 Certification • Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in technical aspects of packaged HVAC, plumbing electrical equipment repair and maintenance. • Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft. ladders. • Ability to perform on call duties and overtime as required. Preferred • Knowledge of overall MEP/HVAC system design and application. • Experience managing work orders, utilizing CMMS technology • Experience working in a service-related role, specific to commercial facilities.

No documented warnings in the last 12 months. Position must be available to be promoted Tech 4 - 5-10 years relevant experience. Must maintain a low voltage electrical license. Must be a Certified HVAC tech from accredited school or equivalent certificate may be considered. Go-to experienced HVAC who is familiar with HVAC equipment and processes, meets all tech level requirements, and is back up for the lead technician. Must retain a refrigeration recovery license. Two consecutive Performance reviews at 3.5 or above. No documented warnings in the last 12 months. Position must be available to be promoted Lead Technician- Certified HVAC tech from accredited school or equivalent certificate may be considered. Provides guidance and instruction for at least one other HVAC Tech. Meets all tech level requirements and is familiar with all HVAC processes and equipment.
