Parkland Health Center has two locations in St. Francois County, Missouri – a full-service acute care hospital in Farmington as well as a rural emergency hospital in Bonne Terre. In addition, Parkland’s Farmington campus offers a full continuum of inpatient and medical-surgical and intensive care, obstetrics, geriatric psychiatry and emergency services, along with a wide variety of outpatient services including oncology services, an infusion center, a wound care clinic, and the Huckstep Heart and Lung Center. Bonne Terre is a Rural Emergency Hospital providing emergency services and outpatient services including medical observation, lab, radiology, and sleep study. The Maintenance Department provides support for maintaining the various buildings included in the PHC campus. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Provides Maintenance and Engineering services. Provides the necessary skill and craft for operation and maintenance of HVAC and physical plant systems in a manner to ensure safe operation, optimum performance and maximum efficiency. Responsibilities • Keeps equipment clean and operational. Handles and disposes of hazardous and or infectious waste properly and practices infection control. Adheres to regulatory guidelines. • Performs preventative maintenance and repairs of all refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment. • Performs troubleshooting and repairs on equipment and systems as assigned. • Maintains the hospital's building automation system and responds to system alarms, making necessary changes to controls and notifies management. • Responds to work order requests and emergencies.
