Position Overview As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing HVAC systems at our McDonald’s locations. This role requires a hands-on approach, including coil cleaning and troubleshooting HVAC systems. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available, with competitive pay based on experience. Key Responsibilities • Freezer/cooler maintenance and repair • Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning coils and repairing HVAC systems. • Diagnose and resolve HVAC-related issues to ensure optimal performance. • Maintain accurate service records and adhere to all safety standards. • Willing and able to travel to multiple locations across Central Illinois, including: Springfield, Beardstown, Mt. Sterling, Havana, Chatham, and Jacksonville. • Other Miscellaneous tasks What We Offer • Competitive Pay: $25-$30 an hour. Qualifications • 3+ years of commercial experience as an HVAC and Refrigeration Technician • Active EPA Certification • Valid driver's license • Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills • Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs., climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/ high locations. • Proven experience in HVAC maintenance and repair. • Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel across Central Illinois. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Familiarity with commercial HVAC systems is a plus.
