What You’ll Be Responsible For: • Perform installations and servicing of HVAC equipment safely and in accordance with all relevant company policies and regulatory codes. • Follow directions from the Lead Installer Service Technician regarding scope of work. • Ensure every job meets manufacturer specifications and industry standards. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of HVAC and electrical theory. • Pre-measure jobs to identify and prepare the proper materials needed. • Install household appliances as needed. • Manage equipment and materials inventory on your truck, maintaining proper stock levels. • Maintain the company vehicle and coordinate necessary maintenance with management. • Assist and train associates as delegated by management. • Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely each day. • Perform readings on test instruments and understand their significance for quality assurance. • Follow national, state, and local mechanical, electrical, and plumbing codes. • Communicate job status clearly with office dispatchers and supervisors. • Maintain company tools ensuring safety and good working order. • Always deliver work and customer service with the utmost professionalism and respect. • Report any issues directly to management immediately. What You Bring to the Role: • Completion of a trade program in HVAC or a related field is preferred. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HVAC installation. • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HVAC service. • Certification as an EPA 608 technician is required. • Proven working knowledge of HVAC installation, service techniques, tools, and test instruments. • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills. • Ability and willingness to work on-call and overtime as needed. • Valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR), and medical certification card for company vehicle use. • Commitment to following all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
