In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, as well as conducting duct cleanings. Job Duties: • Perform routine preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and other related equipment. • Inspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g., motors, belts, filters, fans, coils, ductwork) to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely. • Clean and replace filters, clean coils, lubricate moving parts, and make necessary adjustments to optimize equipment performance. • Perform thorough duct cleanings to improve indoor air quality for our customers. • Identify and report any potential issues or necessary repairs to customers and senior technicians. • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed. • Communicate professionally and courteously with customers, explaining the work performed and answering any questions. • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the company vehicle. Qualifications: • No prior HVAC experience is required; we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. • HVAC schooling or technical training is a major plus. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. • Ability to work in various environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and rooftops, and in varying weather conditions. • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. • Must be able to lift and carry tools and equipment as needed.
