HVAC Service Technician

Job Title: Level 3 HVAC Service/Maintenance Technician Compensation: $25–$29 per hour (based on experience) About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Level 3 Service/Maintenance HVAC Technician to join our team. This role is primarily focused on service (75%) with some maintenance work (25%). The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first mindset. Responsibilities Service & Maintenance • Service, maintain, and install HVAC systems (furnaces, A/C, heat pumps, mini-splits, geothermal, ventilation). • Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, providing effective solutions. • Perform routine maintenance to ensure system performance and longevity. • Complete RVT Training within 3 months of hire. (Company provided) Customer Service • Communicate clearly with customers, explaining technical issues in a way they understand. • Provide excellent service, leaving homes clean and customers satisfied. • Recommend system improvements, upgrades, and energy efficiency options. Sales & Problem Solving • Proactively identify potential HVAC issues and preventive measures. • Sell upgrades, replacements, and efficiency improvements. • Stay informed on rebates, tax incentives, and financing options to guide customers. Documentation & Teamwork • Accurately log all work, repairs, and customer interactions. • Collaborate with teammates to ensure seamless service. • Participate in ongoing training to maintain certifications and technical knowledge. Qualifications • Valid HVAC license (if applicable). • 4+ years of residential & light commercial HVAC experience. • EPA Certification required. • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Must pass a background check.
