Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced HVAC Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial HVAC systems, while providing excellent customer service. Primary Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems • Remove old HVAC equipment and systems • Run pipe and duct systems through residential homes • Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical data (e.g., pressure, temperature) • Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs promptly and efficiently • Ensure jobs are completed on time and meet local HVAC codes and building ordinances • Calibrate thermostats and test HVAC/R system energy use for efficiency improvements • Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles • Properly complete all required written and electronic job records Technical Skills & Duties Include: • Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults • Understanding refrigeration cycles • Repairing/replacing pumps, valves, heat transfer equipment, and air distribution systems • Testing and sealing pipe/tube joints for leaks using pressure gauges • Repairing walk-in coolers and freezers • Complying with OSHA and appliance safety standards • Installing or repairing ductwork and registers • Communicating clearly with clients and junior team members • Ordering and maintaining equipment and supplies Qualifications: • Experience: 4 – 6 years in HVAC (Required) • License/Certification: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Ability to pass a legal background check • Mechanically inclined and physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. and working in confined spaces • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Honest, dependable, and customer-service oriented Work Environment: • Exposure to various weather conditions and extreme temperatures • Collaborative, growth-oriented, and positive company culture Company DescriptionPotential increase after a 30-day probation period based on performance and experience Schedule: 8 to 10-hour shifts per day Availability required: Monday to Saturday Occasional after-hours, weekends, overtime, and emergency holiday work may be necessary
