Here are Your Responsibilities as a Residential Electrician at Mr. Electric As one our Residential Service Electricians, you are a valued member of our team and will collaborate directly with management. You will have significant influence in the direction and growth the business. Our customers look to your expertise to help solve their issues and build confidence that their home will be safe. · You will help customers with various electrical needs, from installations to repairs. This could range from installing basic fixtures to replacing a home's electrical panel and wiring. Note: Complex troubleshooting is often involved so experience as a residential service electrician is a must! · Maintain compliance with both the company safety and federal OSHA safety standards. Implement necessary protocols and safeguards during any given job. · Have the ability to identify problems with common wiring such as panel imbalance, improper breaker usage, lack of protective devices such as GFI's, etc. · Have a basic knowledge of frame carpentry and construction techniques. The ability to lead and inspire apprentice electricians when needed to provide field support. · You are the face of Mr. Electric and will be interacting with the homeowner to deliver the customer service that Mr. Electric is known for. Job Requirements The following are the minimum requirements for the Residential Electrician position. · Minimum 1year of prior professional-level electrical experience as a card-carrying Journeyman Electrician · Valid driver’s license and clean driving record · Must be able to lift, push, pull 50 pounds. · Must be able to work in crawl spaces and comfortable working at various heights using ladders, scaffold or other as necessary. · Must have his/her own set of journeyman electrical hand tools. Pay and Benefits The starting pay range for our Residential Journeyman Electrician is $32.00 to $42.00 per hour, depending on your level of experience. For the right candidate, we will consider your request for more. Our Electricians are paid a base hourly wage PLUS incentives based on performance, additional work performed, and overall job profitability. OR After your initial time starting in the position, you can move over into an incentive-based commission structure that will allow you to have uncapped earning potential! This move will be verified profitable prior to moving you from an hourly based pay structure. Journeyman Electrician - Up to $40.02 DOE +$2 for shift + 10% Quarterly Bonus

The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for the installation and repair of electrical fixture apparatus, wiring, and controls equipment. The selected candidate will also be responsible for planning new or modified installations intended to provide access for future maintenance and avoid hazardous configurations. Must possess a current Journeyman Electrical License for the State of Idaho. Pay: • Depending on experience, pay range is $35.32 to $40.02 per hour (range increases to $36.28 to $41.07 on August 1, 2025) • Additional $2.00 per hour if working rotating shifts (days/nights) • Additional Retention Bonus of 10% of wages paid each quarter Benefits: • Eligible for benefits after 30-days of employment. • Health care plan with $0 premium cost out of your paycheck! Qualifications: • Must possess a current Journeyman Electrical License for the State of Idaho • Three to five years of experience working in Commercial or Manufacturing environment. • Be able to identify and properly use several different types of Electrical tools. • Ability to troubleshoot and take corrective action. • Repair equipment such as various size motors, generators and turbines or other related process equipment normally found within the scope of a manufacturing plant, such as, but not limited to 3-phase 480-volt power distribution systems, troubleshoot motor starters and circuit breakers, medium voltage 4160, large electrical generators, troubleshoot control wiring VFD’s and PLC’s. IDOC - Electrical Foreman

Description State of Idaho Opportunity Applications will be accepted through 4:59 PM MST on the posting end date. Summary: The Idaho Department of Correction (IDOC) is currently accepting new applications for an Electrical Foreman to plan, supervise, and perform electrical and electronics work. This announcement will be used for the South Boise Complex to include Idaho State Correctional Center (ISCC), Idaho State Correctional Institution (ISCI), South Boise Women's Correctional Center (SBWCC), South Idaho Correctional Institution (SICI) including the Pre-Release Center, Idaho Maximum Security Institution (IMSI), and Mountain View Transformation Center (MVTC). This is a working electrical foreman position and subject to after hours and weekend call-backs. Responsibilities: • Plans, supervises, and performs cost estimates, installation, and inspection of electrical systems and service work in new and remodeled facilities. • Installs, repairs, and maintains conduit, switches, compressor units, and other electrical accessories on heating, cooling, and refrigeration units. • Repairs electrical motors and ensures proper operation of high-voltage generators and transformers used to backup primary systems. • Installs and repairs complex electronic devices, control panels, relays, and communications equipment. • Repairs speakers, amplifiers, bull horns, fire control monitors, and similar equipment. • Provides input for budgets, cost projections, and program objectives. • Writes electrical and contract specifications Issues and evaluates bids from private contractors. • Recommends and coordinates bid selections and writes purchase requests Interprets and draws blueprints. • Orders and maintains a supply of electrical parts. • Assigns work to inmate workers and apprentices and evaluates their performance. • Trains apprentices to obtain their journeyman electrician's license. • Prepares work and training reports. • Maintains custody of assigned inmates. • Conducts searches for weapons, tools, and contraband. • May testify at hearings concerning inmate status and performance. • Evaluates facility electrical procedures to protect and maintain state property. Minimum Qualifications: • Licensed as a journeyman electrician in accordance with Title 54, Chapter 10, Idaho Code. • Some knowledge of supervisory practices. Typically gained by completion of a class or seminar (of more than 1 day) specifically covering supervisory practices; OR completion of a college course covering supervisory practices; OR leadwork experience that involved work assignment, direction, and monitoring of staff (such experience on a fill-in basis is non-qualifying unless for a minimum of 3 months). • Good knowledge of electrical safety practices. Typically gained from experience where the use of electrical safety practices was required. Such as working for a residential contractor pulling wires and running conduit, etc. OR vo-tech course covering electrical safety practices. • Experience planning, installing, and maintaining commercial electrical work relating to building construction and equipment repair; operating, maintaining, and repairing electrical motors up to 500 horsepower; interpreting commercial electrical construction blueprints. Typically gained from at least 2 years work experience at a commercial journey level in a commercial or industrial setting. • Using electrical metering and motor testing equipment at least 2 years work experience in commercial journey level. • Installing and maintaining commercial electrical control panels and relays with integrated circuitry, and alarm and detection devices for high and low voltage equipment; developing material and equipment cost estimates for electrical projects; and evaluating electrical specifications and performance criteria. Typically gained from at least 2 years work experience at a commercial journey level in a commercial or industrial setting. • Willing to work non-traditional hours at a correctional facility while maintaining custody of assigned inmate workers.
