Lead Carpenter

EMPLOYER: AandA LANDSCAPE AND MAINTENANCE OF ND LLC JOB TITLE: Lead Carpenter LOCATION: 404 44^th^ St., Williston, ND 58801 DUTIES: Estimation, construction, and repair of wooden structures, along with ensuring high-quality finishes on all woodwork. Work alongside a team of landscapers and contractors, playing a crucial role in creating durable and aesthetic outdoor spaces. Train, supervise and oversee the carpentry department, consisting of two crews with two carpenters in each crew, that will work under you in completing any projects the company receives. The responsibilities will include estimating and calculating the materials required for each project to ensure cost-effective use, and constructing, adjusting, and repairing wooden structures for various landscape projects, including pergolas, pavilions, gazebos, fences, bridges, outdoor kitchens, and other outdoor elements. Take into account local zoning laws, building codes, and workplace safety regulations; take accurate measurements and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencils, chalk, and marking gauges, while shaping, cutting, and smoothing to specified measurements and descriptions using hand tools, power tools, or machines. Additionally, assemble and fasten materials to create frameworks using nails, screws, dowel pins, glue, or other methods. Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and building plans will be key to preparing project layouts and determining the necessary materials and dimensions. Inspect structures such as woodwork, floors, ceilings, and outdoor fixtures to identify damage and repair needs, and erect scaffolding or ladders when assembling structures at elevated heights. Installation of fixtures, door and window frames, subflooring, and other structural elements will also be part of your duties. Lastly, stain and paint wood projects to ensure proper finishes, and provide ongoing maintenance and repairs on existing structures . Travel Within 50 miles of Williams County in North Dakota, including McKenzie County, Mountrail County, Burke County, Divide County. Travel will be dependent on each project. No overnight stays. Accommodations Technician / Oil Field Carpenter

Role Summary: The Accommodation Technician/ Oil Field Carpenter is responsible for rigging up, rigging down, and the general maintenance of rig-site accommodations and rentals. The Accommodation Technician/ Oil Field Carpenter Priorities / Responsibilities: • Rigs up and down rig-site surface rental equipment and living quarters • Installing semi-permanent water and sewer systems • Performs minor electrical work related to light plants, generators and housing • Coordinates with company site supervisors in location organization and planning • Participates and coordinates in on-site installation of rig-site accommodations and equipment • Monitors and coordinates logistics and transportation of company assets • Ensures compliance with all company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental requirements including, but not limited to: completing daily Job Safety Analysis, pre/post-trip inspection reports, near miss and hazard reports The Accommodation Technician/ Oil Field Carpenter Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Basic knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing, electrical and housing troubleshooting, and repairs and a willingness to learn • Customer service oriented • Ability and desire to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and terrains • Is always conscience of operating in and contributing to a safe work environment • General Labor or Construction background a plus • HVAC experience is a plus Education or Certification required (if applicable): • High School Diploma or equivalent • Applicants must possess a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record to comply with fleet insurance regulations • Must be able to pass a background check as well as a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
