Job Summary We are seeking energetic experienced Construction Carpenters demonstrating skills in multiple areas of construction including rough and finish carpentry, Cabinetry and Millwork installation, Doors & Door Hardware installation. Experience with drywall hanging, finishing, caulking, painting and other finishes would be helpful but not required. Duties • Complete tasks assigned within specific timelines. • Complete tasks within specific tolerances and codes. • Keeps job site clean. • Ensures quality. • Follow all safety rules and procedures. • Attend weekly safety meetings. • Preforms work in compliance with all safety rules and procedures. • Constructs, repairs, restores and installs structures such as Floors, doors, walls, window, stairways, furniture, cabinets, shelves, kitchen equipment & roofs. • Installs locks, knobs, hinges, closures and other fixtures to structures. • Basic knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety procedures. • Ability to read and understand Blueprints and specifications. Experience • Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role is preferred. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship. JOB DESCRIPTION Carpenters will travel between sites and be responsible to the site superintendent/foreman. General duties will include hanging doors and hardware installation, install trim carpentry, install cabinets and worktops, construct forms, perform selective demolition labor and clean. RESPONSIBILITIES • Construct forms • Set out for excavations • Cutting and fixing items • Assisting laborers and other duties as directed by the site superintendent/foreman • Skills in drywall, acoustical ceilings and tiling preferred • Strictly adhere to company safety policy DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • Must possess a high level of skill in relation to all carpenter duties • Must be able to display and perform carpenter duties in a consistent, quality manner • Must be dependable and reliable • Reports to foreman, project coordinator, or superintendent as available • Task-oriented, not directly concerned with the management of any project • 5 years or more experience as a carpenter • Be physically fit enough to occasionally lift heavy items, climb access equipment • Have a good working knowledge of tools and their safe use • Be able to communicate with other staff on site and alert them to any issues • Capable of understanding plans and specifications • Have good working knowledge of OSHA regulations • Valid driver’s license • Competency with skid steer, forklift and scissor lift preferred BENEFITS • Competitive Wages • Health, Accident, and Life Insurance • Supplemental Insurance • 401(k) Retirement Plan • Paid Holidays and Vacation • Training and Development Opportunities
