The Skilled Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support construction and other projects. The role involves using tools and equipment to perform tasks such as excavation, demolition, carpentry, and other specialized tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Perform tasks such as excavation, demolition, carpentry, and other specialized tasks as needed • Use hand and power tools to perform tasks safely and efficiently • Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and other technical documents to understand project requirements • Operate equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and forklifts as needed • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety regulations and protocols • Communicate with supervisors and other team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and to specifications • Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure consistent quality and safety standards • Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed • Complete other duties as assigned. Requirements Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • 2+ years of experience in construction or related field • Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and other technical documents • Knowledge of hand and power tools and their proper use • Ability to operate equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and forklifts as needed • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team • Ability to follow established procedures and protocols to ensure consistent quality and safety standards • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed • Positive and proactive attitude.
