Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling, blueprint reading, and the use of construction management software. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of workers, coordinating tasks, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment on the construction site. Duties • Supervise daily operations on the construction site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. • Coordinate and schedule tasks among team members to optimize workflow and productivity. • Review blueprints and project plans to understand project requirements and timelines. • Utilize construction management software for effective project tracking and reporting. • Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality standards are met. • Manage materials and equipment needed for construction activities, ensuring they are available when required. • Communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution. • Provide training and support to team members in construction techniques and safety practices. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry. • Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling, and pipeline operations. • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings. • Familiarity with Primavera or other project management software is highly desirable. • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. • Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders involved in the project. • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
