This seasonal union position plays a vital role in maintaining attractions, especially wooden rides, and conducting a variety of carpentry tasks, including finish and rough work as well as door hardware installations. Responsibilities: • Perform maintenance work on attractions, focusing on wooden rides and general carpentry tasks throughout the park. • Operate lifts and manage tasks at heights. • Climb roller coasters when necessary for inspections and maintenance. • Deliver exceptional guest service according to Six Flags standards, initiating interactions and providing assistance. • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to Six Flags' safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to supervision. • Work based on scheduling needs, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods. • Comply with Six Flags attendance policies and Rules of Conduct, including grooming and costuming standards. • Complete any additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications: • Must possess a Union Journeyman's card as a Carpenter in good standing. • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams. • Comfortable with heights and working at elevated locations. • Capable of lifting and carrying materials as required. • Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Pass a mandatory or random drug test, following Company policy, unless prohibited by law. • Successfully complete a background check, if over 18 years of age, covering credit, criminal history, driving records, employment history, education, and personal references, as allowed by law.
