Why Should You Work Here • Competitive wages • Health vision dental and life insurance available • Simple IRA Investment Plan • Training and certifications available • Friendly and supportive work environment • Full-Time hours available • Overtime eligible • Opportunities for advancement Primary Responsibilities: • Perform finish and trim carpentry according to plans and specifications • Measure cut and install base and casing windows ceiling panels staircases siding flooring etc. • Design build and install cabinets for new and refurbished homes/offices • Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed • Collaborate with other carpenters craftsmen and subcontractors to complete projects • Troubleshoot and repair issues with building components and equipment • Follow established regulations and advocate for safety on each worksite • Organize equipment within the warehouse • Monitor communicate and respond to customer needs/concerns to ensure customer needs are met Qualifications: • High school diploma/GED • Effective verbal communication • Basic math skills • Strong attention to detail • Blueprint reading skills • Able to use common hand and power tools • Must have own trade tools • IICRC certifications preferred • Experience with new construction and/or remodels preferred but not required • Previous estimating and material ordering experience preferred but not required • Ability to travel locally • Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screen • Must possess a valid drivers license Physical and Work Environment Requirements: • Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance • Exposure to chemicals • Walking and standing for long periods of time driving sitting climbing • Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights • Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g. crawls spaces under buildings) • Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects All employees of a SERVPRO Franchise are hired by employed by and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated SERVPRO Franchise.
