Construction Carpenter (5+ Years proven Experience REQUIRED)

Carpenter Qualifications: • Valid Driver's License/acceptable driving record • A MINIMUM of 5 years of residential finish carpentry & remodeling experience is REQUIRED • Must be well-versed in multi-trade construction (flooring, drywall, cabinets, painting, trim work, light plumbing & electrical, etc) • High school diploma or GED equivalent • Must pass a drug screen and an extensive national and local criminal background check (No Felonies or Major Misdemeanors) • Reside within a 30-mile radius of the Swartz office in Lima, OH • A strong working knowledge of carpentry principles & construction processesfrom foundation to finish. • Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment • Willing to be on call 1 week each month to respond to after-hours & weekend emergency calls • Physical stamina to handle prolonged standing, bending, and lifting. • Proactive, self-motivated • Excellent attention to detail Carpenter Key Responsibilities/Duties: • Perform a multitude of carpentry tasks while following the scope of work and adhering to project timelines • Identify and address project-related issues, finding effective solutions to maintain project timelines. • Perform multiple carpentry tasks: drywall (hanging & finishing), interior trim, tile, cabinetry/countertop installation, siding, window & door installation, framing, flooring, painting, light plumbing & electrical, etc. • Maintain clear communication with clients regarding project status and expectations. • Communicate any project issues/changes to the project manager • Produce quality work that consistently meets the company's standards and expectations • Adhere to the rotation ON-CALL schedule responsibilities • Respond to emergency service calls after-hours & weekends (board-ups, tarping, property stabilization) • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow the established safety rules.
