In this role, you will cut, shape, and install concrete forming systems for large concrete pours. Together, we can build great things Key Responsibilities • Form sidewalks, pads, grade beams, and other ground level structures by properly following/reading layout (independently) • Safely strip wall form systems • Safely build wall form and deck form systems • Safely form stairs • Recognize hazards and danger zones • Complete Task Hazard Analysis (THA) logs • Complete required training to use personal arrest system • Assist other trades when necessary Qualifications • Prior experience with self-perform concrete work in commercial, civil, or marine environments • Able to plan and execute work with minimum supervision • Basic understanding of blueprint reading and lay out (transfer levels, off sets, and set points…etc.) • Able to identify and differentiate form systems and its components • Must understand level, plumb, area and volume/square concepts • Understand construction terminology • Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, water pump, measuring tape, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, etc.) • Proven commitment to Safety • Work in an organized manner • Able to work night shifts when needed • Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site • Ability to work independently and follow instructions • Must be self-motivated and can work well with others • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency • Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds • Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces • Minimum age 18+ • Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization McCarthy is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veteran status.

Job entails working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products. A carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail. Work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements. • Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed. • Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) per measurements. • Construct scenic elements as per shop drawings and verbal instruction. • Coordinate space and set-up requirements with various departments as needed. • Execute tasks and collaborate efficiently and on deadline. • Assist with pull, prep, and repair of rental equipment. • Assist in wrapping, packing, loading, and unloading. • Assure that a safe work environment is maintained.
