As our operations expand, we are seeking a highly skilled Lead Carpenter to oversee and contribute to daily production and on-site installations. This critical role bridges the gap between the office, shop, and clients through great communication, planning, scheduling, and quality control. This role will enable the owner to focus on Sales and Design. Duties • Assign work whether done by in-house labor, subs, or combination • Plan materials, labor, subs, schedule, logistics for each install or install segment. • Schedule installation and production work, keep customer up to date on milestone schedule • Sufficient on-site time to develop relationships and do expectation management with Supers, Subs, and Shop; Ensure site work is done safely, with excellence, and to schedule and that Site is always left clean • Instruct/check on shop personnel for proper understanding and implementation of shop drawings.
