Facility Solutions Carpenter Foreman

Compensation Range $44.56 - $44.56 Hourly Rate Job Description Summary: Plan, organize and supervise Foreman(s) for multiple job-sites simultaneously. Consult with clients and contractors in a professional manner. Assign tasks and making sure carpentry jobs are completed in due time while work is performed according to Swinerton standards. Discipline, mentor and monitor performance of Foreman. Job Description: • Supervise crews on construction sites. • Expertise in performing journeyman-level rough and finish carpentry duties. • Provide drawing interpretation. • Plan and schedule work and keep records of the materials used and the progress made on a job. • Order supplies and equipment. • Report on personnel, costs, and safety. • Direct the use of machines and materials being used. • Ensure the project is constructed to code and according to plans and specifications. • Examine and inspect work progress and equipment. • Coordinate the work timely and efficiently in a safe environment. • Identify, address, and resolve issues and problems as or before they occur. • Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with Clients, field personnel, and sub-trades. • Analyze and plan installation and construction of equipment and structures. • Discuss blueprints and plans with other contractors and Clients. • Assist with resolution of union grievances, if applicable. • Ability to travel as required. • Create scopes of work clearly defining owner’s project request. • Able to work evening shifts as required. • Able to use iPad/smartphone with service software (training available). • Business development for Facility Solutions and other Company Services. • Collaborative, flexible, responsive, agile, and customer service oriented. • Creative problem solver, time manager, critical thinker. • Able to educate Client to the construction process. • Enter daily time in WorkMax (Company timekeeping system) for crew. • Assure work quality - set standards for quality control. • Complete other responsibilities as assigned. • Must hold a current Journeyman Carpenter license/certificate (if required by the applicable state, city or county) • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Facility Solutions Foreman or similar role • Considerable knowledge of: rough and finish carpentry; tools, equipment materials and safety practices of carpentry work; building techniques of new and remodel construction; masonry, concrete, steel, pre-cast and wood construction • Display hand-to-eye coordination, mathematical skills, strength, stamina, and be detailed orientated • Display basic computer skills • Lift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts or other equipment, • Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt • Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions • Uphold Company Core Values of Integrity, Leadership, Passion, Ownership and Excellence at all times • Adhere to all OSHA and Company safety practices and procedures • Support activities at all Company job-sites as directed SUMMARY OF BENEFITS: This role provides the following benefits: medical, dental, vision, employee assistance program; basic term life and AD&D insurance, short term disability, 401(k) & savings plan; paid vacation, sick time; MSA Financial coaching; Care.com; ClassPass fitness membership; DoorDash delivery subscription; along with numerous other voluntary benefit options. * Union Members: health and retirement benefits are provided thru the union; therefore voluntary benefit offerings are available for this role. Commercial Lead Finish Carpenter - Millwork/Cabinets/Trim -Traveling Position

Description: We are a leader in Millwork, Cabinet and Fixture Installations seeking experienced and enthusiastic working Lead Finish Carpenters who can perform in a diverse range of situations overseeing and installing fixtures, casework and millwork in commercial and retail environments. “We have traveling positions available. One (1) year minimum supervisory experience. Certification(s): OSHA10 or 30, Forklift, aerial lift (Company will provide if necessary). Technology: Able to download and use APPS on phone and mobile devices. Able to make electronic submissions though company portal. Physical Demands: Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, climb ladders, work from an aerial lift. Frequent bending, kneeling, twisting and squatting. Work with materials over your head for short durations. Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Must be able to pass a Drug Screening, Criminal Background Check and MVR screening for approved driving status. Must be able to complete a Company Sponsored CPR/First Aid Training course online. Available to work overtime as needed. Our typical workweek is 40 to 60 hours. Be flexible to work non-conventional shifts when required (some overnight projects may occur). Able to travel and be away from home for durations from 2-8 weeks depending on our contract. Must provide own basic hand tools and cordless drill.
