This role includes both concrete forming/carpentry and finishing. Experience in concrete work is required. Please note: this is a full-time, ongoing position and not a seasonal role. We’re also looking for someone who has the potential to grow into a Crew Lead role. If you demonstrate leadership, reliability, and strong technical skills, we’d love to support your transition into a leadership position. WHAT YOU’LL DO: • Build, set, and strip wood/metal forms for slabs, footings, walls, sidewalks, and curbs • Read simple plans/layouts, take accurate measurements, set grades, and check level • Install rebar/mesh, place concrete, vibrate/finish as needed, and complete punch-list repairs • Place, screed, and finish concrete for slabs, floors, sidewalks, patios, driveways, and curbs • Bull float, hand float, edge, and joint; operate walk-behind power trowels • Deliver clean broom, mag, steel-trowel, and decorative/stamp finishes to spec • Check grades/slope for proper drainage; use levels/lasers; perform saw-cut layout • Apply curing/sealing; complete punch-list (patching, joint caulk, grinding) • Safely operate hand and power tools (saws, drills, vibrators) and maintain a clean, safe jobsite • Work with the crew lead to hit quality, safety, and schedule targets WHAT YOU BRING: • Concrete experience is required • Comfortable using hand tools and power equipment; can read a tape measure and follow layout • Able to read a tape to 1/16", use levels/lasers, and follow directions • Physically able to lift 50–80 lbs, bend/kneel/squat, and work outdoors in all seasons • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Safety-first mindset (PPE, awareness of weather/mix conditions, and site hazards NICE TO HAVE (NOT REQUIRED): • Blueprint/layout reading experience • Rebar tying, finishing skills, stamped/colored concrete, or exposed aggregate • ACI Concrete Flatwork Finisher, OSHA-10, or equipment operation (skid steer/telehandler) PAY & BENEFITS: • Weekly pay • Paid vacation • Paid holidays • SIMPLE IRA with company match up to 3% • Performance bonuses • Consistent day‑shift hours with a stable, safety‑first crew SCHEDULE: • Day shift (Mon–Fri), early start times for pours as needed • Expect increased overtime during peak season based on project demand. • This is a full-time, year-round position—not seasonal.
