Senior Capital Project Manager

As an Senior Capital Project Manager, you will lead the execution of capital projects within our Jackson, TN, plant. Your role will be crucial in managing day-to-day engineering and construction activities, leveraging your exceptional planning and influencing skills to ensure successful project completion. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing • Lead and Plan— You will spearhead the facility's capital and capital expense planning, forecasting, and tracking processes, focusing on cost, schedule, performance, people safety, and food safety targets. • Building Teams— Interact with design engineers, construction contractors, and drawing management personnel (typically Engineering Service Providers (ESPs)) to drive alignment with business partners across the North American region. • Internal and External Partners— Use your people skills to engage with internal and external customers, including our Supply Chain and Engineering leadership, Process, and Packaging teams. External teams include Engineering and Construction Management Service Providers, Consulting Firms, Equipment Vendors, and Co-manufacturers. • Financial Responsibility— Understand and apply Kellanova financial policies related to classification, asset set-up, and automation guidelines, with a focus on project justification and productivity metrics. We’re Looking for Someone With • High school/GED with relevant technical experience. • Experience in directly supervising contractors. • Proven experience in defining and leading project execution under multiple contracting strategies. • Strong technical aptitude in both mechanical and electrical disciplines. • Capable of reading drawings and working with AutoCAD • Proficient in Microsoft applications and other project management software. • Demonstrated strong project fundamentals and work processes (cost/schedule tracking, change management, risk identification, options analysis, etc.). Compensation The annual salary range is $136,600 - $179,340, which is based on various factors such as location, experience, and skill. JOB TITLE: CONSTRUCTION WORKER II DEPARTMENT: ENGINEERING - STORMWATER OPERATIONS DIVISION NON-EXEMPT: YES FULL TIME: YES GRADE: F (RATE OF PAY: $19.09) JOB SUMMARY: The person employed in this capacity will perform his/her duties under the direction of the Public Works Director, Superintendent of Stormwater or Group Leader. This person will assist with the construction and maintenance of the City's stormwater system. Essential Job Functions • Safely operate a manual or automatic transmission dump truck to load or unload materials used for daily construction activities. • Operate tools, machinery, and heavy equipment. • Operate power driven machinery such as a jackhammer, wacker packer, walk behind vibratory roller, and other small equipment and tools to perform storm drainage construction. • Lay and repair culverts and headwalls. • Assist with the construction, installation, and repair of curb inlets and drainage structures. • Form, pour and finish concrete for items such as inlets, headwalls, and driveways. • Clean, flush, and remove debris from culverts, inlets, and ditches. • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations and work cooperatively with others to provide quality service. • Assist in the installation of traffic control when lane closures or road closures are needed. • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Tools/Equipment • Backhoe, front-end loader, mini excavator, dump truck, air compressor, saws, shovels, rakes, and other power tools. Required Education, Degrees, Certificates, And/Or License • High School Diploma or GED. • Experience in storm drainage or site work construction. • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with air brakes required. Experience, Training, Knowledge And Skills • Considerable knowledge of heavy-equipment operation principles. • Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations. • Working knowledge of the methods, materials and tools used in storm drainage construction. • Skill in operation of listed tools and equipment. • Ability to understand and follow oral or written instructions. • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. • Ability to observe proper safety precautions. • Ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors and the public. • Ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods. • Must have working knowledge of current traffic laws, ordinances, and rules involved in equipment operation. PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Must be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions. • Must be able to lift, climb, stoop, crawl, kneel, reach with arms and legs and have good use of wrists, hands and fingers. • The employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and /or move up to 100 pounds. • Must have good vision for close and long distances and good depth perception. • Must wear ear and eye protection and be able to function under high-level noise. Description: NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED We’re hiring hard-working crew members for a night shift road construction team based in Jackson, Tennessee. No experience needed. You will be part of a crew that removes and replaces damaged roadside safety equipment (guardrail) for DOT projects across West TN.
