CNC Machine Operation Job Responsibilities The goal is to produce high-quality parts and materials by programming machines to perform the right operations. CNC Operators work with great concentration and precision and must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines. • Use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery to shape and manipulate materials • Work with precision measurement tools and equipment to ensure accurate results • Read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings to understand specifications and requirements • Translate instructions into computer commands to program machines correctly • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines for fabrication • Set up and supervise machines during execution to ensure quality output • Inspect and measure finished products against specifications to determine completion status • Maintain machinery daily to ensure proper functionality and efficiency Key Requirements: • Proven track record in CNC operation • Familiarity with CNC machinery, tooling, and precision measurement tools • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Diploma or certification in a related field (mechanical engineering, manufacturing, etc.) is an asset • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program is essential
