May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Oversee a crew of 2 or more in the construction of inground pools. • Report to work in a timely manner and collect all the necessary contract related information for work scheduled that day. • Ensure that all necessary equipment and materials are loaded for transport to jobsite. • Oversee the cleaning and preparation of construction sites each day and maintain them through completion. This includes making sure that each job site is left in an orderly and safe manner at the completion of a scheduled work day. • Ensure that all material is loaded/unloaded and staged in the most optimal place for construction while on the job site. • Wall and liner installation, plumbing, digging ditches, work concrete, and any other necessary job duties assigned. • Ensure all tools and equipment are used properly and in a safe manner as well as performing regular preventative maintenance on these items.
