Job Title: Finish Carpenter Job Description We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. The role involves installing cabinets, doors, and door hardware, as well as working with fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), vinyl wall protection, wood blocking, and plywood sheathing. This position requires a strong focus on finish carpentry, door installation, trim, and cabinet blocking. Responsibilities • Install cabinets, doors, and door hardware. • Work with fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) and vinyl wall protection. • Perform wood blocking and plywood sheathing. • Execute finish carpentry tasks with precision. • Install doors and perform trim work. • Conduct cabinet blocking effectively. Work Environment The work environment includes construction sites located in Columbus/Central Ohio. The role involves working Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Overtime is rarely required, except for specific jobs, ensuring a balanced work schedule. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, Ohio. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Taylor, is seeking experienced carpenters for both rough and finish applications, door & window installation and formwork for commercial and industrial construction projects in the Northeast Ohio Area.
