Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including fixture installation, concrete forming, and remodeling. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work effectively on construction sites and collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. • Perform fixture installation and ensure all components are plumb and level. • Fabricate and assemble wooden structures according to specifications. • Execute concrete forming for foundations, walls, and other structures as needed. • Conduct remodeling projects including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work. • Lay tile and apply stucco as part of various construction projects. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site. • Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of tasks. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. • Proficiency in fixture installation, concrete forming, remodeling, and tile laying. • Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials. • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods. • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
