Building Carpenter

Job Title: Building Carpenter Job Description We are seeking a Carpenter with over 2 years of carpentry experience. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings, expertise in various carpentry techniques and tools, strong problem-solving and math skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities • Perform framing and rough carpentry, as well as trim and finish carpentry tasks. • Construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures. • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials. • Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures/fixtures. • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment. Skills • Carpentry (2 years) • Ability to use hand and power tools • Experience with framing, drywall finishing, painting, and trim work • Commercial construction experience (nice to have) • Blueprint reading • Valid driver's license Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED required. • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on carpentry experience in commercial construction. • Ability to read blueprints and accurately measure and mark materials. • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry machinery. • Physical capability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physically demanding work. • Ability to climb, kneel, bend, crawl, and work at heights using ladders or scaffolding. • Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Willingness to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots) and work in varying weather conditions. • Travel required as needed to support regional job sites.
