CARPENTER The carpenter is to assist the Foreman on the day to day activities for all stages of the project. Required Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, innovative and forward thinking Office and Travel • Must be willing to travel regularly Responsibilities and Tasks • Forming of foundations, wall, columns, decks, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, doors, hardware, and millwork. • Support and follow standard work. • Participate and support implementation of Lean and continuous improvement culture. • Strongly promotes and supports our safety policy. Visit us: www.henkelconstruction.com Key Responsibilities: • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction documents to plan work layout. • Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials for structures and fixtures. • Install hollow metal doors, frames, hardware, and specialty items (e.g., toilet partitions, marker boards). • Construct forms and chutes for concrete pouring. • Perform cabinet, floor, window, and trim installation using hand and power tools. • Inspect and repair woodwork, tile, and structural components as needed. • Erect scaffolding and ladders for projects above ground level. • Operate power tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. • Maintain clean and secure job sites, following Henkel's safety standards. • Perform basic welding, concrete mixing, plumbing, and ceiling/wall paneling as needed. • Uphold company values through reliable, respectful, and results-oriented conduct. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED required. • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on carpentry experience in commercial construction. • Ability to read blueprints and accurately measure and mark materials. • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry machinery. • Physical capability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physically demanding work. • Ability to climb, kneel, bend, crawl, and work at heights using ladders or scaffolding. • Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Willingness to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots) and work in varying weather conditions. • Travel required as needed to support regional job sites.
