Construction Field Technician

Heavy Equipment Operator Position We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires the ability to operate various heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities: • Operate all heavy equipment including front-end loaders, dozers, graders, rollers, and excavators. • Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment. • Interact with construction crew members to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of equipment for project completion. • Interact with residents and members of the public in a courteous and respectful manner. • Report any complaints from members of the public. • Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required. • Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored. • Participate in routine maintenance and practice workplace safety. • Maintain inventory and ensure access to houses and locations. • Use equipment to level roads and ensure proper drainage. Required Skills and Qualifications: • One to two years of experience using construction tools and equipment. • Knowledge of operation of front-end loaders, dozers, graders, excavators, and other pieces of heavy equipment. • Knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques. • Knowledge of signals used to signal operators of construction machinery. • Knowledge of equipment cleaning standards and procedures. • Working knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry. • Ability to keep company proprietary information confidential. • Effective communication skills and the ability to work successfully with a variety of people at different levels within the organization. • Ability to work various schedules including nights and weekends and local travel.
