Primary Duties:Plan, construct, and maintain workstation benches, tables, shelves, coops, containers, etc.Plan, construct, and maintain finished carpentry projects inclusive of trim work, cabinets, tables, furnishings, and related high-grade work.Plan, construct, and maintain involved building projects inclusive of framing, offices, additions, out buildings and related rough / detailing work.Use hand and power tools such as hand drill, handsaw, table saw, jointer, sander, drill press, as required with proficiency in performance of duties.Develop detailed material requirements, labor estimates and related information for requested work.Set-up, operate and maintain all carpentry equipment / tools using identified methods and safety practices.Read and interpret detailed drawings, blueprints, sketches, and dimensional information.Install and adjust locks, latches, hinges, doors, windows, etc.Hang drywall, finish drywall, repair drywall, plaster, install drop ceilings, paint, stain and perform related activities in the finishing or completion of work activities.Move furniture items (tables, desks, chairs, filing cabinets, etc.), production workstation items, equipment and machinery as directed.Install, repair and or replace electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic devices.Fabricate and weld PVC items, fixtures, boxes, totes, exhaust stacks, etc.Perform various mechanical activities / work.Remove / install lights, wiring, switches, electrical devices, plumbing and pneumatic lines to perform work activities and / or during the installation of items / equipment. Keep machines, equipment, and work areas clean and orderly for operational and work force safety benefits.Keep any production or related quality records.Employee is responsible for operational productivity, continuous improvement / suggestions, and involvement.Employee is responsible for product, function, quality job safety.
