Carpenter / Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Carpenter/Laborer will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including framing, trim work, and installation of fixtures, while collaborating with other tradespeople on-site. Duties • Execute construction tasks including frame carpentry, trim carpentry. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry tasks. • Perform concrete forming, plastering, and masonry work as needed. • Assist in roofing, siding installation, and water damage restoration projects. • Conduct heavy lifting and physical labor as required on construction sites. • Collaborate with team members on fixture installation and remodeling projects. • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. • Participate in the restoration industry by engaging in mold remediation and rebar installation tasks. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: • Proven experience in construction with a focus on carpentry techniques. • Knowledge of woodworking, flooring installation, tile laying, and caulking practices. • Experience with metal stud framing. • Background in plumbing, electrical work, or maintenance person services is advantageous. • Prior experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not mandatory. • Ability to perform physical labor including heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday. To pass the background check the following requirements must be met regarding legal offences. • No Murder, rape, sexual assault, child pornography, child sex crimes, human trafficking, kidnapping, treason, terrorism, espionage, other serious/capital felony offenses (Charged or Convicted) • No Manslaughter, armed robbery, felony assault, explosives violations, or other violent felony offenses (Charged or Convicted) • No Drug trafficking, distribution, manufacturing, firearms violations (Charged or Convicted) in the last 10 years. • No Burglary, forgery, drug possession, felony theft, or other non-violent felonies (Charged or Convicted) in the last 10 years. • No DUI, theft, drug possession, hit and run, or other misdemeanor crimes not previously enumerated above (Charged or Convicted) in the last 3-5 years. • No Traffic violations resulting in arrest due to unpaid fines, etc. in the last 1-3 years. • Must Not Be Currently wanted by other law enforcement authorities for any offense or violation. • Name Must Not appear on any Federal or State agency's watch or hit list for criminal behavior or terrorist activity. • Must Not Be Previously barred from entering another military installation or facility. • Must Not Be Known or reasonably suspected of involvement with organizations with known terrorism links. CAW - Carpenter

Job Title - Carpenter Location – Various International locations Resumes are reviewed as submitted and staffed based on project need. What You Will Do • Responsible for designing, building, installing, and repairing structures, fixtures, furniture, and other items using different types of materials including wood and steel. • Cut, fit, and assemble lumber and plywood, and other materials to be used as concrete forms. • Set forms for concrete construction; erect scaffolding; or do finishing work. • Measure accurately and mark precise cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge. • Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. • Verify trueness of structure, set grade, check for plumb, etc. • Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, or power tools. • Read specifications, blueprints, sketches, building plans, and form drawings to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required. • Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level. • Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools. • Select and quantify lumber and other required materials. • Performs other duties as may be assigned. • Working Conditions– Construction setting, travel required, full time. Must have the ability to crawl, climb, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, crouch, stand for longs periods of time, lift and hold in excess of 50lbs, talk, hear and occasionally sit. Must have the ability to withstand confined spaces and or/extreme heights while negotiating tasks at hand in a safe manner to themselves and/or others. Subject to hot, cold, humid and wet conditions depending on location. Certifications, Licenses, etc.: - (Should be able to submit certifications upon request and obtain a medical clearance before deployment) Current clearance, or the ability to obtain, a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance required.
