Carpenter I, Maintenance Services

RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of a carpenter foreman, the carpenter performs varied carpentry type work, including: cabinet and furniture repair; puttying; roofing and sheet metal work; tuckpointing and sealing; flooring repair and installation; and sand blasting. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to understand and implement oral and written instructions. Two years of carpentry experience. Ability to use tools of the carpentry trade, including the use of power woodworking machinery. Possession of a valid Oklahoma driver license. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a standard high school or equivalent. Graduate of a technical school with training in the carpentry field. Additional years of carpentry experience.
