Summary: In this position you will be required to perform a variety of tasks including forming, placing, finishing, protecting, repairing concrete and tying rebar. Requirements: • Uses a variety of craft techniques and all tools pertaining to the trade, including placing and finishing the concrete. • Operates hand saws, heavy and light equipment, skid steer, trucks, backhoe, and forklift • Operates air compressors, jackhammers, rotary-operated sump pumps, and tampers, including all hand tools. • Services and makes minor repairs in the maintenance of equipment. • Layout foundations of off baseline/centerlines with theodolite. • Installs rebar and anchor bolt installation, form setting, placing, and finishing concrete. • Assists all crafts as necessary in a variety of other tasks, as assigned. • Experience in pier drilling and foundation excavation is a plus. • Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected. • Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures. • Presents, supports, and leads by example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude. • Available for mandatory overtime on a weekly basis. Qualifications: • High School Diploma/GED Preferred. • 2 + years of heavy construction experience. • Drug testing and background investigation required. • Available for mandatory overtime on a weekly basis. • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment associated with the concrete trade. • Familiarity with safety rules, OSHA, and first aid procedures. • Have a valid driver license with a clean driving record. • Must be willing to travel 75-100%. Anticipated Salary Range: $21.00 - $30.00 The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible. Per Diem of $100.00 daily to cover lodging, meals and travel during rotation. RES offers benefits that are effective first day of employment. About the position Responsibilities • Implement the RES Quality Management System and execute Quality Control Processes and Procedures for the Project Site Construction Team. • Develop and maintain the Construction Quality Plan and Inspection Test Plan (ITP) throughout the project duration. • Collaborate with the Project Management Team to communicate quality policies and procedures to the entire project team. • Prepare the Project Construction Quality Plan to meet project-specific requirements. • Track the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) with support from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). • Update Benchmarks and Inspection Forms for site-specific and technical requirements before work begins. • Manage the Job Book Table of Contents (TOC) for project-specific requirements and document client-requested changes. • Ensure Job Books are prepared according to the TOC and contract requirements. • Verify that Procore project folders are established and populated with required documentation and data. • Ensure SMEs review project specifications and identify all Quality Control (QC) requirements. • Work with production crews to implement Quality Controls and use Standardized Work Instructions (SWIs). • Oversee and manage all Project QC inspections and submitted documents for compliance with the Construction Quality Plan. • Validate QC inspections on work performed by construction crews before client handover. • Continuously validate project QC execution to ensure compliance with the Construction Quality Plan and AQMS. • Identify potential Quality Issues or Incidents and exercise STOP Work Authority effectively. • Report all project Non-Conformances and prepare Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and Corrective and Preventative actions. • Audit project documentation and job books for accuracy and completeness. • Provide Quality oversight to Sub-Contracted works to ensure compliance with RES Quality Standards. • Conduct post-scope reviews and collaborate with Project Management to identify and record Lessons Learned. • Provide routine reports on project quality status and metrics to Project and Corporate Leadership. • Follow all Safety and Environmental Protocols and report unsafe conditions. • Operate company vehicle to oversee site operations. • Attend work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected. • Comply with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Company Policies & Procedures. • Assist in training project personnel to perform QC inspections. • Attend all required meetings. • Lead 5-why cause analysis and collaborate with HSQE Manager Quality in Cause Mapping. • Communicate Quality Issues and resolutions to the Project Client when required. • Reinforce safe behaviors and correct 'at risk' behaviors. Requirements • High school/GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred. • 2 years or more Renewable Energy experience performing QA/QC audits on large industrial/Solar or Wind construction projects. • 2 years or more experience with Substations, Transmission Lines, BESS, and MV Collections Systems. • Advanced knowledge in communication skills, relationship building, and QA/QC on Renewable Energy or T&D Construction sites. • Intermediate knowledge in general construction, safety and environmental concepts, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and Procore or other Project Management Software. • Basic knowledge in sub-contractor and vendor management, P6 Scheduling Software, and fundamental concepts of civil, electrical, and mechanical construction, as well as ISO 9001. Nice-to-haves • Experience with ISO 9001 standards. • Familiarity with Procore or other project management software. • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in construction.
