POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our pile driving team. This position is responsible for welding steel pipes and structural components to concrete pads in the field. The ideal candidate will have strong field welding experience, the ability to work outdoors in demanding environments, and a commitment to quality and safety. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work with basic hand tools on daily basis • Work outside on a daily basis for long hours, in extreme weather elements (extreme hot and extreme cold) • Maintain and perform safety inspections on equipment and tools. • Properly rig materials to be lifted • Complete all required field paperwork for job location and DOT • Understand and follow all Liberty Lift Standard Operating Procedures. Lock-out/Tag-out procedure • Drive company trucks to and from job sites • Maintain proper housekeeping of vehicles and job locations • Assist in responsibility for the safety and welfare of the job site including fellow team members, customers and third-party vendor • Work closely with the piling crew and field supervisors to ensure proper pile placement and elevation. • Maintain welding tools and equipment; perform basic maintenance and daily safety checks. • Use proper welding techniques to ensure strong, clean, and structurally sound welds. • Operate cutting torches, grinders, and welding machines safely and efficiently. • Inspect finished welds for defects, cracks, and quality compliance. • All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) • Minimum 2 years' experience in oilfield welding occupation including torch work, mig and stick welding.
