About the Role A Welder is a resilient and team-minded individual who is responsible for assembling metal components with precision and efficiency using various equipment and techniques. Key duties and responsibilities include: • Reviewing and planning work order procedures; gathering necessary tools and materials according to instructions and specifications provided. • Repairing and fabricating various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques. • Monitoring the welding, burning, and fitting process to prevent overheating or damage due to warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage. • Prepare, assemble, and tack welding parts and surfaces to be welded. • Adhering to all safety rules, best practices, and company standards. • Maintaining, organizing, and cleaning equipment and work areas. • Reporting faulty equipment or defective materials to supervisors when discovered. • Performing other related duties as assigned.
