As a Welder at EnTech Industries, you will work with a variety of tools and techniques, including GMAW - MIG, Plasma cutting, Oxy-acetylene cutting, Shear cutting, drilling, and Press brake operation. Responsibilities: • Perform various welding techniques including GMAW - MIG • Operate Plasma cutting equipment • Utilize Oxy-acetylene cutting and Shear cutting methods • Press brake operations • Material handling • Drill press and hand tool operation • Use common hand tools- grinders, cut-off tools, saws • Work safely and efficiently • Scheduled shift is Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM CST Qualifications: • Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication • Ability to read and interpret blueprints • Strong attention to detail and quality • Pass pre-employment weld test (MIG-Down, Horizontal, Overhead) • Lift 50 lbs occasionally • Read tape measure EnTech's reliable equipment can be found running on job sites from coast to coast. We are modest, genuine, and authentic. Key Responsibilities 1.Able to operate various types of welding tools and various hand tools. (Including die grinders, angle grinders, etc.) 2.Able to read drawings, blueprints, and heat numbers, if applicable. 3.Follow and understand standard work, training guides, weld procedures, and acceptance criteria to meet customer requirements. 4.May be responsible for basic robot operation, where applicable. This could include loading and unloading parts, starting and stopping robot, daily device TPM, daily operator TPMs, and to notify lead or supervisor if any welds are not within tolerance. 5.Basic problem solving and decision making. 6.Follow and understand build boards and Kanban system requirements. 7.Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product, or equipment. 8.Able to make adjustments to various fab parts to allow proper alignment. 9.External Robot Operation/Programming Certification may be obtained based on specific criteria. 10.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating collaboratively with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management. 11.Helps company meet its Strategic, Quality and Safety objectives. 12.Position may require additional responsibility and ability to work overtime hours. 13.Other duties may be assigned. Job Requirements/Qualifications •High School diploma or GED preferred. •Combination of welding certification(s) and / or experience preferred. •Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, etc.) •Communication skills •Basic math skills •Reading skills (Basic instructional and technical information) •Spelling OR •An acceptable combination of education and experience Functional & Cognitive Requirements of Position •This position requires walking, sitting or standing to a significant degree. •Must have the ability to lift 70 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push and/or pull up to 100 pounds. •Must have the ability to climb ladders and/or stairs. •Stooping, crouching, kneeling and bending. •Handling, feeling, and gripping would be required for some activities. •Visual acuity is required to inspect work completed. •This role may be subject to internal and external environmental conditions. • Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
