Pipeline Welder

Qualifications • Minimum of one year of welding experience in the oil & gas industry required. • Must pass client companies' weld test(s) or have up-to-date gas company certifications. • Required to have own hand tools needed to perform daily tasks along with a minimum of 100’ of welding leads for each remote, stinger, and ground. • High School Diploma or GED required. Demonstrated related experience may be substituted for preferred education. • Must pass drug screening and criminal background check. What You'll Do • Model and promote good safety practices. Ensure safety is never compromised. • Perform pipe layout and field welding according to blueprints, specifications and customer needs. • Determine proper welds to use based on metal type and situations in which the pipes will be used. • Layout, position, align, and secure parts prior to assembly. Modify pipes and parts (cut, bend, straighten and/or reshape pipe sections and components). • Fabricate, install, position, and connect pipes, components, parts and finished products. • Construct clamps, brackets and other support structures to ensure pipe and component stability during the welding process. • Perform routine maintenance checking and repairing faults, blemishes, leaks and other damage. • Perform well-head welding, including installation of load rings, well head flanges, etc. • Maintain a safe and properly ventilated work area; wear all required personal protective equipment. • Perform other duties including preparing the worksite and reducing or eliminating obstructions. To Be Successful You Will Be • Knowledgeable in pipe welding skills and processes (e.g., SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW) and positions (e.g., 1G, 2G, 5G, 6G). • Able to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and other project documents. • Able to design, modify, measure, determine proper angling, fabricate and weld steel plate, shapes, and piping. • Skilled using welding equipment, hand and power tools to cut, dismantle, straighten and reshape pipes. • Able to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision; establish and maintain positive working relationships with other employees. • Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally. Working Conditions/Physical Demands • Indoor and outdoor work in all types of weather. Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, mists, odors and vibrations. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. • Exert more than 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or more than 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects. TIG (GTAW) Welders

TIG (G TAW) Welders Ultimate LLC is immediately hiring TIG Welders for Industrial projects in the Baltimore area. The pay range is $25-$32 per hour based on experience. All TIG Welders are scheduled four 10 hour shifts a week with opportunity for overtime. We are looking for skilled craftsmen to add to our team of dedicated, safe, productive, and proven craftsmen. Ultimate LLC provides weekly pay for all employees with no week in the hole and optional direct deposit. As a Tig Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components IN THE FIELD to produce high-quality products. Ultimate Job Duties • The ability to pass an ASME 6G 2" Carbon Steel GTAW Pipe Test is required. • The ability to pass an ASME 6G 6” Carbon Steel SMAW (SCH80 Carbon Steel Pipe with 6010 Root / 7018 Cap full penetration butt weld with no backing ring) Pipe Test is a plus. • Work involves butt weld and socket weld of stainless-steel process piping (SCH 10, SCH 40, SCH 80 wall thickness). Socket Weld up to 2" diameter. Butt-weld up to 8" diameter. Welding will be performed in various positions, at various heights. Some welding work will be performed out of man lifts and/or scissor lifts. • Ability to set up the welding rig to your preferences, based on the environment and material being welded. • Work will take place in a variety of industrial manufacturing facilities. Flexibility in working in both clean and dirty environments is required. • Willing to work at least 40 hours per week (typically 4-10s, Monday - Thursday or 5-8s, Mon-Fri) with the flexibility to work overtime as required. Some night shift may be required, which is dependent on client needs. • Flexibility to work outside of your trade, if welding is not available Ultimate TIG Welder Requirements • 2-5 Years previous experience in TIG welding, preferably in an industrial environment. • Ability to pass an ASME Section IX Pipe Test with X-Ray • Familiarity with ASME codes & standards • Familiarity with MIG welding and stick welding • Flexibility to work in both clean (food-grade) and dirty (recycling facilities) environments. • Reliable transportation with active driver’s license US Citizen and/or Green Card Verified • Flexibility to travel in the Baltimore Metro Area (Aberdeen, MD to Washington, DC) • Willing to work at least 40 hours per week (Mon – Thu on a 4-10’s schedule or Mon- Fri on a 5-8s schedule), with the flexibility to work overtime as required. This position involves performing Manual Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) on various alloys to fabricate duct assemblies within the Aerospace Industry. The working hours for this role are from 2:30 PM to 11 PM, and the hourly rate is set at $32.00. As a Ducting Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating details and duct assemblies by scribing, cutting, and grinding to tight tolerances as per blueprints. You will utilize gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) techniques on materials such as Inconel, Stainless Steel, and potentially titanium alloys, with thicknesses ranging from .020” to .125” in accordance with AWS D17.1 standards. Quality assurance is a critical aspect of this role, requiring you to conduct visual inspections and physical measurements using various hand tools and gauges to ensure the integrity of the parts produced. In addition to your welding responsibilities, you will also play a key role in mentoring and onboarding new hires, providing training support as needed. Participation in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S+ activities, is expected, along with adherence to safe work practices by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), following work instructions, and reporting any unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
