About AGI AGI Hi Roller manufactures a line of premier commercial enclosed, dust-tight and self-reloading conveyors, designed for installation in grain handling facilities, soy and corn processing operations and industrial operations. It specializes exclusively in the design and application of conveyors which will not only contain dust and spilled materials but will also automatically reload that material back on the carrying surface of the belt. The Opportunity Join the Hi Roller team as a Welder and help build top-quality grain conveyors from scratch. You’ll work with fresh, rust-free steel and precision laser-cut parts that fit together seamlessly, making your job straightforward and efficient. Our modern, climate-controlled facility is equipped with excellent weld fume extraction to keep the air clear and comfortable. Using MIG welders, you’ll work in a dedicated weld cell featuring an overhead bridge crane and hoist for easy parts handling. This is your chance to weld with precision and pride in a shop designed to make your work easier and better. The Team Our large production team consists of welders, assemblers, metal fabricators, powder coaters, and more. As a Welder you will collaborate with your Production Supervisor and peers to produce top-quality grain conveyors for our customers. Responsibilities • Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits. Wear safety shoes, goggles, hoods with protective lenses and other devices designed to prevent burns and eye injuries. • Set up and weld parts using MIG welding (GMAW). • Use hand tools such as grinders, air and power tools. • Read, understand, and follow blueprints. • Keep work area clean. • Keep up with production demands while working safely. • Perform Quality Checks Qualifications • Welding school completion and/or 3+ years of on-the-job MIG with the ability to set temperature and wire speed • Ability to handle repetitive tasks • Ability to lift and maneuver 55 pounds repeatedly • Ability to read and use tape measure Why Hi Roller? Location - Bonner, Montana Position Summary: Perform Aluminum MIG Arc Welding (AMAW) on fixtures, parts, and ramps. May do some TIG welding. Must be able to read blueprints, follow job orders and learn welding techniques and procedures for aluminum trailers. Will operate and maintain setups. Must recognize and be conscious of finished trailers' quality, tolerance, and accuracy. Alert to visually detect obvious defects. Work is given supervision, inspection, and check; instructions and guidance are provided on new work, procedural variations, and difficulties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Reads job orders and blueprint specifications. · Check the blueprint and job order before starting any operation. Refer to the blueprint throughout the day. · Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. · Flip the trailer, with the help of a flipper or co-worker, in order to weld the other side of the trailer. · Verifies specifications by inspecting completed components. · Responsible for the safety of the equipment he/she is using. Responsible for notifying the lead or manager of the need for equipment repairs. · Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. · Recognize obvious defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship, and general quality. Double check job order to finished product. · Evaluates and recommend changes in methods and procedures. · Must be able to follow directives and procedures and complete paperwork. · Work area must be maintained as clean and organized. · Work in compliance with all safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards in accordance with company policies. · Performs other related duties as assigned by management. · Supports all Continuous Improvement initiatives, including 6S and Kaizen events. Education and/or Experience: · Aluminum welding experience is required.
