Duties • Perform welding tasks using methods such as FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), Stick welding, Mig Welding and soldering. • Operate power tools and equipment including plasma cutters and micrometers to ensure precise measurements and cuts. • Build and assemble metal components according to specifications outlined in blueprints or technical drawings. • Conduct pipe threading as required for various projects. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines. • Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring all welds meet industry standards. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Welder with strong skills in various welding techniques. • Familiarity with operating forklifts and other heavy machinery is preferred. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. • Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks effectively, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials. • Certification in welding or relevant training is a plus.
