Welder

We design, fabricate and install dust collection systems throughout the country and are looking for a welder. We work mostly in light gauge galvanized steel. We are looking for someone for full-time. Duties will consist of: • Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding. • Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together. • Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding. • Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment. • Assembles parts by bolting. • Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts. • Other duties may be assigned. The person in this position must meet the following requirements: • Experience with dust collection/air filtration market is preferred but not required. • Must be able to work both independently and within a team environment. • Must be experienced in MIG welding (Certifications are preferred). • Must be experienced with all types of Fabrication Machinery (Brakes, Shears, Welders, Rollers, Iron Workers, Drill Presses and various hand tools). • Must have the ability to read and interpret blue prints. • Use Critical Thinking when making decisions. • Must be able to prioritize work load and take direction as needed. • Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed. • Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted. • Willing to learn new skill sets and cross train in different job functions. • Able to do Basic math. • Able to read, write, and speak English. • One or more years of experience as a welder preferred. • Have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED). • Must be willing to travel. Other Requirements: • Ability to pass a welding test. • Have a valid drivers license. • Ability to work in a drug-free environment. • Have reliable transportation.

Welder, Level II

The Welder, Level II at Aqua-Chem is responsible for welding/assembling components and subassemblies in accordance with company standards. Working primarily in a manufacturing setting, successful candidate will work under the direction of a Manufacturing Supervisor.
