Welder / Fabricator

The Allen Company is seeking a qualified, hardworking dependable person for a Welder Fabricator position in the Central Kentucky area. Qualified applicants must supply some tools and be available to work any shift. Responsibilities: • Welding and Fabricating on crushing/mining equipment. That includes but is not limited to stationary crushing and conveying equipment. Mobile mining equipment. • Mechanical work for crushing, conveying, and mining equipment. • Troubleshoot issues related to mining equipment. • Perform general maintenance on equipment including but not limited to changing parts, greasing/fueling, shoveling, welding. • All duties assigned. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent (technical school a plus). • Welding/Fabrication experience. • Basic mechanics hand tools. • The desire and ability to learn. • Dependable. • Hardworking. • Safety Oriented. • Must be able to show up for work every day and on time. • Physically able to climb and lift. • Able to function outside year-round. • Able to pass DOT physical. • Good driving record and background check. • Be available to work any shift schedule including overtime and Saturdays as needed. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background evaluation.
