MCIAST is looking for a responsible determined individual with welding experience for Hyster Yale Group. As a welder, you will be responsible for set up, tack, and welds for a variety of uprights, carriages, and sub weldments such as crossmembers, crossheads, subs shafts, hose shive, and other brackets and miscellaneous parts. You'll also adjust fixtures, clean and prepare parts, and perform other related duties as required or directed. Key accountabilities: • set up, tack, weld, and allow for material draw on major components, sub weldments, and miscellaneous parts all supporting continuous process of production of lift trucks. • position fit, block, and clamp parts to obtain proper alignment; adjust fixturing; grind, cut, chip; tack • exercise care in welding to maintain a smooth even bead, obtain proper penetration and coverage, and check work for adherence to specifications. • maintain adherence for a quality product and quality standards. • promote a safe work environment • Proper care of tools, equipment, PPE, materials, and facility and maintain general housekeeping. • support and help enforce all company policies. Mig Welder

Skilled Welder Position - $19/hour Responsibilities: • Certified Mig Welder Expertise: Expertly weld small, medium, and large bore pipes made of various metals and alloys. Possess certification as a Mig Welder. Perform soldering and brazing on copper pipes. • Mechanical Installations: Execute complex mechanical installations according to engineering instructions. • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and comprehend construction drawings and specifications. • Layout and Installation: Lay out and install piping, equipment, and other mechanical systems in compliance with construction drawings and specifications. • Documentation and Reporting: Mark up construction drawings and specifications with as-built status. Collaborate with Thermal Systems Engineers and Site Construction Manager to procure necessary tools, equipment, supplies, and materials. • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other crews and lead persons. • Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned to the group. Qualifications: • Reading and Comprehension: Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines. • Basic Computer Skills: Capability to learn basic computer skills for communication and documentation. • Safety Awareness: Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety. • Communication Skills: Ability to receive and follow instructions and effectively communicate with co-workers. Welder 3rd Shift

Job Description Assist in the timely production of all welded parts and ensure welds being completed are within acceptable quality standards. Essential Functions: • Perform MIG, hand and robotic welding operations to produce product at the required production and quality level as instructed. • Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts. • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed. • Accurately report daily activities on work orders and other media as required. • Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment. • Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards. • Exercise safe working habits while operating machines, including proper use of personal protective equipment. • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns. • Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Training • High School Diploma/GED required. • Prior welding experience, required. Minimum Qualifications • Ability to pass welding certification test. • Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment. • Must follow all safety practices and policies. • Able to read and understand blueprints and geometric tolerances. • Must be able to physically lift 65 lbs. Physical Demands • Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp. • Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing. • Lifting and carrying up to 40lbs. Environmental Conditions • Non-temperature controlled manufacturing facility. • Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.
