Welder: Sterling, IL Our customer in Sterling, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Welders to work full-time on 2nd shift. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing welding tasks to manufacture and repair metal components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities of the Welder: • Weld, fabricate, and repair metal structures and components according to blueprints and specifications • Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment as needed • Record work activities and maintain accurate documentation Welder Requirements and Qualifications: • Strong work ethic and attention to detail • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols • Experience with MIG and TIG welding techniques • Physical stamina to work in a standing position and lift up to 50 lbs. • High school diploma or equivalent • Welding certification or equivalent experience preferred Pay for Welder: Starting at $21.42/hour.
