About the Position • We are looking for an experienced Class 1 skilled Fabricator/ Plater that will be responsible for performing a variety of fabricating and welding activities to support the manufacturing facility using Carbon, Stainless Steels & High Nickel Alloys. We will require you to have a strong understanding of processes and materials to fulfil delivery of Flare Tips, Power Burner, Process Burners, Skids and Pressure Vessel fabrications. Your ability to interpret engineering drawings to determine materials and cutting lists as well as planning task sequences will be crucial. Key to this role will be your ability to determine priorities to ensure continuous workflow between disciplines ultimately achieving target dates and on time delivery. Roles and Responsibilities • Interpret isometric and engineering drawings to fabricate parts. • Fabricate parts accurately from detailed drawings. • Understand both imperial and metric dimensions. • Prepare parts for welding, including sawing, drilling, grinding, pipe bending, and threading. • Perform or prepare for Class 1 / ISO 3834 welding activities, including understanding and interpreting Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS). Weld joints (fillet, lap, corner, and butt, open and double-sided) in compliance with ASME IX and ISO 15614 standards.
