Job Purpose, Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Achieve and maintain the required welder certification; • Fabricate, inspect, and repair lifting devices; • Forward test samples to the Welding and Fabrication Lead Person as required; and • Maintain a safe working environment. • Machining duties may be required. • Perform other functions as required. Job Experience Requirements: • Welder Certification • Must be able to air arc. • Experience Mig welding with .035, .045, 1/16" hard wire and dual shield • Oxygen/Acetylene torch cutting • Align Boring - field machining is a plus • Mechanical experience a plus • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screening. Ironworker/Welder

Overview We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural steel and metal fabrication, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and tools essential for the construction and assembly of metal structures. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards on the job site. Duties • Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to blueprints and specifications. • Operate cranes and forklifts to move heavy materials and equipment safely. • Perform welding tasks to join metal components, ensuring structural integrity. • Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to construction projects. • Work with sheet metal, operating press brake machines for precise bending and shaping. • Conduct machining tasks as needed for custom components. • Employ mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues on-site. • Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy in work. • Execute pipe threading for plumbing installations as required. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Skills . • Strong welding skills with experience in various welding methods. • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. • Familiarity with sheet metal work and operation of press brake machines. • Experience in machining processes is a plus. • Solid mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. • Ability to use calipers and other precision measuring instruments effectively. • Forklift operation certification preferred but not mandatory.
