Job Summary: The Welder I will be responsible for safely employing a welding process with certain parameters while achieving high-quality welds. Understanding blueprints, calculating dimensions, monitoring heat used in welding, and knowing the basic controls of welding equipment are important duties of this position. Adherence to Procedures: • Follow all job instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and any specific requirements related to the welding process. • Accurately complete forms and documentation such as production travelers (MOT's). • Ensure that all welding tasks are completed according to established guidelines and meet company and government regulatory standards. • Comply with all environmental and safety regulations. Equipment Maintenance and Safety: • Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working order, performing basic maintenance as needed. • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). • Follow safe work practices and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
