Job Full DescriptionLocal construction company hiring for an Experienced Welder in their yard! General mechanical knowledge, ability to work on some machinery required. M-F, schedule times to be decided. $27 to start, may go up depending on experience. Requirements:1. Fabricate and weld components into subassemblies and final assemblies from prints verbal descriptions.2. Reviews all drawings for completeness, necessities, and understanding before beginning fabrication assignment.3. Request materials needed for fabrication assignment (plate steel, flat bar, expanded metal etc.). shop supplies (tools, welding supplies, gas, and misc. supplies).4. Perform inspections of equipment.5. Perform inspections on parts and products produced to ensure compliance to prints and verbal direction and quality requirements. High school diploma required and additional training in welding and blue print reading is preferred. 0 - 2 years welding experience or the equivalent.
