Job Summary As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. Welder, 2nd Shift

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES • Read and interpret blue prints with minimal supervision; including weld symbols. • Produce welds on various thicknesses of material. • Set up welding machine and place welds in a manner that produces the least amount of spatter. • Produce welds that are satisfactory in visual appearance and strength with no defects. • Minimize Quality defects and avoid duplication of errors and defects. • Utilize MIG process to weld. • Perform other duties as assigned. Mig Welder - 2nd shift

Company: Southern Fulfillment Center Job Location: Fort Payne, AL Work Setting: In-Person Shift: 2nd Shift begins at 3:30pm (8 & 10 hour shifts available) Summary Mig Welders should be able to interpret blueprints and plan welding requirements accordingly. You should be able to measure, cut, and join metal components as per the specifications of the blueprints. You need to clean the work area before and after work completion. Welder will need to always adhere to the safety guidelines. As a MIG Welder, you should ensure that the final outcome matches the quality and industry standards. Also, you should have good physical and mental stamina. In addition to this, you should be detail-oriented and have good problem-solving abilities. Your ability to meet deadlines and work in extreme weather conditions will be advantageous. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Promotes the Company’s mission and values-based culture through welding a quality part to be painted and/or shipped to customer. • Manage the daily workflow of the MIG welder and production of customer orders. • Safety: Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations by all employees. • Quality: interpret blueprints and make part within the tolerance. • All welds need to be watertight and pass our quality inspection. • Productivity: Produce parts by the order on LMS; Maintain utilization specified by supervisor. • Coordinate with Material Handler for the next fixture and material(s) needed. • Report any discrepancy to QA and Supervisor. • View blueprints and claim daily production into LMS. • Dexterity: Employee would work with their hands, and need to be able to lift or hold heavy items. • Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor, or Lead.
