The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for ensuring that all work meets safety standards and specifications. Responsibilities • Fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and blueprints. • Perform welding tasks using various techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding. • Utilize power tools and machinery such as plasma cutters, calipers, and soldering equipment to complete projects. • Operate forklifts to transport materials safely within the work environment. • Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity. Requirements • Proven experience in fabrication and welding, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles. • Proficiency in working with sheet metal and ductwork is preferred. • Familiarity with power tools, welding equipment, plasma cutting, and machining processes. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Valid certifications in welding or related fields are a plus but not mandatory.
